How to safely remove front and rear bumper.
Hey Ryo,
For the rear you need to loosed the 4 big bolts on the bottom of your boot they are metal on metal so I doubt you'll damage any plastic there. Then there are only 2 small screws on the inside on the side, and 2 small screws where the bumper meets the wheel arches. Not sure about the front bumper but last time I loosened it I didn't have any problems but I loosed them directly on the bumpers. In the end, best thing to do is soak them a couple of times in WD40 and then loosen them. Greetz, Bastiaan "mux213" Olij Moved down under, no more hachi |

How to safely remove front and rear bumper.
The front bumper is fixed with 2 very big bolts to the frame on each side...the bolts on those bumper mounts are usually a bitch to get loose...so use wd40 copiously, use good tools and hope you dont break anything. I just removed the bolts from the mount to the bumper itself, but you have some bad experiences with that from what I can gather.

How to safely remove front and rear bumper.
well i dont need to remove one of those... because one was gone with that rusty piece of metal ...i was thinking first that it can be funny but it's not. Must weld that spot. I think every also the nicest looking hachi's can have rust there on that place.

One of mine (on the side which actually needs it badly!) is still in there, so I know what pain they are. 1983 - AE86 Sprinter Trueno - import project 2013 - Honda Civic sport - daily driver 2004 - AEU86 dot ORG - daily domain Support our forum, buy from the AEU86 shop: |
