Great event in Hungary, hope that we in Croatia will have something like that some times, with so many spectators, cars, drifters.......

Drift taxi is great idea, pepole can enjoj and learn somethnig from "live streaming".
This is best idea for making drift more popular.

Hey everyone,

My name is florin i am from a small town in romania called Baia Mare closed to Hungarian border.

I work and spend most of my time in South Africa, but every now and again im comming to europe.

I own a mazada rx7 fd which acctualy is at the moment in budapest for upgrades and I own another rx7 fd in South Africa which i drift with.

I will like to meet some of the hungarian drifters for a start because they are right next door and maybe join you for some of the next events

I will be in Budapest on mid octomber. Do you have any events on that period ??

Motor sport is very big in south africa and here are plenty of rece tracks everywhere. Drift is comming in very strongly

Absolutly fantastic events from what I se in this fothos and let me tell you something: I dont know about drifting but the girls in our site of the world are way ahead comparing with here

Just pulling your leg mate! FDs rock I've been trying to build up an FC for the past 4 years for drifting but I'm a slacker

Drop by the europian section on rx7club.com aswell if you don't already, plenty of us guys on there aswell, some guys in tjech very busy with modding FCs for drifting there aswell.

FD-s are very dificult to learn drifting in because of their 50-50 weight distribution, and also expensive to mantain, a bit of lack of torque as well.... but I love them thats why I've got two.

The one in south africa is a drift project, and probably I will be blamed by all rotary fans but im bussy putting in, a skyline engine rb25 det ....
Should be finished at the end of next week, and ready for the track again

Hmmm.. thats a first I heard someone say RXs are difficult to learn drifting in.. Well I guess it goes mostly for FCs but Mazda made em with controlling them with throttle in mind. 50:50 weight distribution is more a plus then a minus I'd say. They do have poor steering angles though..

The real problem I would guess with FDs is their great suspention and their unlimited amounts of grip combined with the fact that the 13B turbo setup has no torque in the lower ends and you really need to rev those beasts to break traction in the rear so you really have to do your drifting based on weight shifting, not on power over.

That FD of yours looks pretty nice
