ITBs with turbo?
Is it possible to run a turbo WITHOUT fuel injection on a 4AGE? Is it worth it?
Anyways, I'm building a 4AGE. Is there a list with the best parts I can choose from Etc? |

ITBs with turbo?
you can't run ITB's without EFI. THan you are running carbs. It is possible but its almost useless as the intake is forged induction instead of normal air induction.
So you could but its not easy. You should make the IC connect to the intake then but you will need to be running a closed air circuit on your intake then. ITBs with turbo?
But why build an engine to potentially blow it up due to poor fueling? Seems like a poor cost cutting exercise in a time where complete EFI setups cost half of what you pay for a decent set of secondhand carbs.

ITBs with turbo?
Alright, looks like I'm gonna have to read up on this, I don't know exactly what I'm looking at.
It IS a stand a lone engine management system.. but I don't know EXACTLY what I need. Sorry guys. I'm a bit new to the AE86 world, although I do know what megasquirt is, but the only thing I've heard of it used for it Methanol injection etc. |
