Update!!!!!!
Almost finished..... Ncrca's on, Wiring done by a friend of mine and finished by another friend and myself, Tank on and fuel lines ran, Fitted the charmant filler neck to the cam tank, came out well, Close now, parting shot, Ps; I scrapped the trueno shell not knowing that some of you here would really like it, it was pretty bad however, |

Great stuff mate! Can't wait to see her drive..
Wondering though, if you got all the parts out of the car and where waiting for dry weather, why not go through the extra trouble of treating stuff like the subframe members to some anti rust treatment? I would have gotten some hamerite spraypaint or POR15 and given everything a quick cleanup. As for scrapping the shell, your loss, there are plenty of guys on here that would have bought the Trueno front end off of you. It costs easily between 500 and 1000 euro's just to ship one over from the US or Japan. Lights, trim, etc would fetch a nice price to. You could have gotten a nice part of your money back. Is the shell still in a scrapyard or have they crushed the car? Would be worth the effort getting atleast all the trueno parts back. Greetz, Bastiaan "mux213" Olij Moved down under, no more hachi |

Have a few trueno parts left, Ireland is a rip off to ship anything anywhere, in my experience anyway, Ill put up an ad none the less,
Gonna sort the body completely next year, dont have the money to do it right now and I want to do it right, as in shell rebuild, |

Thats the job, Banpeis Trueno breaths life on the same day that I attempted drifting again, without destroying another 86. By the way Mouwt I fcuked my neck that day, cost me more than the price of the car since, another $200 tomorrow for x-rays here in Aus, Im not laughin now all good fun tho.

No shortage of lock, but as you know Im no expert so I just took it handy, did ok like, no flashbacks! Its all about the seat time, practise, practise even by the end of an hour or so there is a massive difference.
One thing I liked at the place I went was, you did a lap & then got back in the que if there was 1, not just go mad out there for 10 minutes, lets you actually thing about what you are going to do. An 86 is for Life, not just for Christmas |
