If it is a GT-S and those don't have brackets, then you don't have one as well, you're just imagining things, Jan!
See, I can try to deliver sarcasme, but it just doesn't seem to be of high quality Seriously - if it's in the way, remove it |

This is SR5 engine bay. The reservoir behind right front light is intended for front lights washer liquid. |

I just looked this morning and I have the bracket as well. However as you can see here on P-Nuts car for the SR5 it is not used for the washer-liquid, but for the (bigger) radiator overflow. Dunno why, but perhaps the SR5 needed more cooling liquid.

You cannot fit the standard 4AGE air filter box in there unless you grind off the circular mount for the radiator overflow/washer set up. That is all that bracket is for. So if you have a standard airbox then grind it off like I did, or put a pod filter in if that is legal (probably not - imagine it needs to be enclosed) Your body shell would have originally had a carby AC engine in it.

Well in that case, only thing I can think of is that it was fitted with an airflow meter intake at some stage as with the USDM versions? They have a different airbox and intake tube across the radiator than the JDM UKDM versions. Perhaps that airbox will fit onto that bracket. It is definitely the bottle mount as found in AC versions however.

I just remembered: One of the previos owners crashed the car and it got a new front end. Perhaps it wasn't the right one for a Euro-GT...
