JDM Levin Build Plate details

I have modified this post after advice as below.

These details came off a JDM half cut I picked up years ago so anyone can feel free to quote away at your helpful local Toyota dealer. It was a RHD Trueno.

I bought it as an almost bare front cut after a guy used it for a conversion.

The numbers are

Model E-AE86-FCMVF

Engine 4A-GEU

Frame No. AE86-0156730

Color 2T6

Trim FQ32

Transaxle T50 T282

Plant A54

According to the firewall ID it's manufactured as a JDM Trueno 3 door two-tone red/black GT-Apex without LSD. Maybe a conversion was done later on??

Hmm curious, when it was sold in Australia it had levin guards and lights. Perhaps the wrecker swapped them before selling. Trueno conversions are fairly popular here.

Yep, it's a Sprinter Trueno.

Its a 3door liftback, and a manual, and a GT-Apex version.

It was built in May 1985. Which makes it a early model.

Interior is deep maroon, as you know.

It was built in Tahara, which is now a Lexus factory.
