The RB is a very nice engine, but don't forget it will rip apart your differential and driveshafts in stock form! You will need to modify the rear axle as well by swapping either IRS from another car (S13 for instance) or a live axle from another car (H100 for instance).
It would be a tight fit I guess... RB isn't a small engine like the CA or the SR for instance... 1983 - AE86 Sprinter Trueno - import project 2013 - Honda Civic sport - daily driver 2004 - AEU86 dot ORG - daily domain Support our forum, buy from the AEU86 shop: |

And as we all know RB25 / RB26 externaly is exact engines in size... And im not talking about the rear of the car modifications... i here wat every one is sayin n shit i respect everyone who is honest, but this swap is like second nature for me my yardy boy is a straight beast when it comes to doin sick ass custom builds, the wiring is really simple cause i have the complete harness, ecu n fuse boxes.trust me to compete over here u either need insane 4clys on crazy boost or cheat and use the straight 6 n shit on boost.everyone who really kicks ass on trac days are n the 180s n skylines, silvias, soarers, and the evo3s i didnt want to shell out 10gs just to be on everyone elses level i wanted to have the best power to wieght ratio so i could come out on top.n the diff shit i will weld it up cause no lsd is strong enough they all break no matter how much they cost.n i have only 6gs to spend max to complete my build

get yourself a decent sr20det, costs less, fits a hell of a lot better, very very easy to modify to 350 bhp and more and due to the low weight of the car you will be as fast as guys with 400kg heavier 180's or 600 kg heavier R32/33 etc.

i want atlease 450hp the sr20 could doit but i would have to spend more and i dont think it would b able to beat a rb26 powered silvia that homie owns the tracs rite now and thats who i want to destroy.everyone on my team is so hype about this project.other than the power plant this is still an ae86 i dont want to stray to far away from that cause the look is wat cost me to fall in love wit this car.

If you seek that much power this engine is a very good choice.
I may have sounded skeptic about the plan but actually I'm really curious about the fitting. What ae86ca18det did with his project was extensive modification to the front to make it fit.
