Mine came via Yahoo Japan.

There is some real nice stuff available. I think one of the only issues is you don't get to try before you buy. Most of the people selling entire cars (and often parts) won't ship out of Japan. You need to find a good middle man to help you get what you want.

If you visit http://www.rinkya.com/ it will help you translate the Yahoo Auctions Japan pages on the fly. These people will even arrange the purchasing and shipping for you (by buying in Japan). I have never personally used them so I can't make any comments really. All I know is shipping is expensive and can make a relatively cheap bit costly.

My car was imported by its first UK owner direct from Japan. Alex may be able to help you source what you need using his contacts in Japan. I've asked him if he will come and give you guys some ideas of whats involved.

Hi all

I regularly import boxes of Yahoo auction stuff from Japan through a contact i have there that collects the bits together and sends them on. It's does add to the costs but there are still some bargins out there.

Japanese is hard to read easier to understand when hearing though some stuff is standard i can understand some of it though prices are not that cheap as they seem and most don't ship
