King of Europe - Slovakian Final Round [Meet the King]

I am ranking the weekend very positive it was a fun to meet even in so small numbers. Nice show lot of nice cars to see and a a place to talk much. Hope there will be another event like this and we manage to meet again with the 86's.

Did you have any chance to talk to the king?

Some of the guy's had but the kings schedule was pretty tight but he managed to meet with the community of ae86 owners talk to some and give them his signature on various car parts so it looks like success. I was not so lucky because i was on different place but no big deal I just hope for another such great event and so that more 86 will come.

there were not so much cars participating, but we had a good time there. It was good to meet other people personally. I was really hoping to have at least 30-40 ae86 there, but a lot of people had their car without MOT and the others had technical misses, etc.. I wrote personal messages and called about 50 guys total. Finally MalejYetti came from Czech Republic with his AE2000 and the TA40 Carina wagon, there were Ryo from Slovakia, some TE71 GT Liftback also from slovakia, maybe 2pcs GT86s, and the rest were hungarian guys who don't speak english so they are not on this forum. Also I've seen a beautiful white AE92 GTi, and an AW11 MR2 there.

This hachi will probably never be washed again!

And I can see that the Drift King really likes to stand out.

I think it was an awesome event. It makes me rally confused why we have been there in so small numbers. When looking on the photos from Ireland there is so big gallery always and they don't need any guest like Keiichi. For real there is something terribly wrong with the world these day's i must say.

Yes i know the distance is the thing i did not mentioned but still i bet we have a lot AE86/GT86 cars around Europe and still there have been only so few there. We have this information on our Czech+Slovak AE86 community page and only 1 from Czech and one from Slovak (me) participated and this info was there from April 2015 !!!!! This is not OK.

It's all about the distance... The 86 is not a car that you can take for a trip into Europe...

The car is 30 years old... That meet would be awesome in the center of Europe where everyone could gather and make a huge convoi!

I've always wanted to plan something in the Ring, fill it with 86's.....
