- i got a question for the guys with KONI short-stroke´d front shoxs.
on the right side of the spring there is an rubber/plastic "cup" that is located between the coil (spring) & the Camberplate. Will this "cup" act in the same way as this item from T3 ? Se last picture please. or, should i get this item from T3 instead ? regards / ..............Kristian I´m sorry sir, your planet has been sceduled for destruction in favor of an intergalactic highway -Thank you Kristian Hesselmark, Sweden EVO-DRIFT-STREET-DRAG-SHOW |

I think getting the upper hat would be a good idea, it looks like the camber plate itself doesnt have enough surface and the correct shape to keep the coilover in place at the top. Also the upper hat has bearings in the midle ring on the picture, making adjustment of the coilover a lot easier..

That "upper hat" of yours looks quite inventive Zax, I reckon that would work pretty well as long as it stays in one piece. Dunno how much Gabe charges for the upper hat, but it cant be very much, so I dont see the point in using this approach unless your short on time or money.

2 ivan: i'm allways short of money. I will order t3 upper hats (around 50$), but at the moment i don't have any other solution. Anoying part is the noise that this setup makes over the bumps.
More pics for kris on his request. Sturts, shortened. Drifting - best fun you can have in your car with your pants on! |

So i figured out that i need wheel spacers.
I used 20mm momo spacers, also oredred long wheel studs from japan. So with spacers, i could even use the +37 offset wheels without the rubbing. And inside, i could lower the coilover nut without the rubbing on the tire!!! Drifting - best fun you can have in your car with your pants on! |

Nice car Kristian,
but what about the suspension? it looks very soft man, car is bending too much in corners, no? Anyway, I m really interested to know about the hood mod you 've done. This is a fiberglass hood right? I 'm interested in doing the same mod in hood mounts, but on the oem hood. Can you help me with some information or maybe some pics please? danielvanderwoude Wrote:looks like the nmwisima joke saved you in the endhttp://www.jdmbits.com |
