Shifter hole. I have not seen anyone with shifter so much in the back. This can be only good.





















I will have problem mounting subframe "deep" in the chassis, the way I would like. Things start to complicate more and more, but I will not give up.

GT2860RS, ACL race bearings, OEM piston rings, sparks, RAS, fanimold, FMIC piping...
I still need to pickup the FMIC, waiting for a walbro. I hope by the end of the week rear subframe WILL BE mounted on the car.

Nice work about the same location as mine if not lower , i was limited by not cutting the body at all. And did all the changes on the subframe instead also changing the S series geometry not to toe out under full bump. Which is a bummer for drifters but is never wanted on a track car. Those low offset rims the cars track might end up a square.

Did you check where the wheel will sit on full compression ? just you might find that the shocks need more angle inward for tyre clearance if you want to run nissan 30/40 offset later maybe

Checked that.
Nissan wheels are on just for checking where the the crossmember is sitting in the chasis (front / rear).
Only reason why I'm not using AE86 wheels ATM is that I have Nissan hubs with 66mm central bore and AE86 ones are 60mm.
I will be running 002 sportmax rims with ET0 + CBY overfenders, just don't have yet tires on 002 sportmax rims.
To use AE86 tires on the back there will be 25mm spacer with hub adjustment form 66 -> 60mm.
This all should sit flush with cby overfenders.
