To keep this thread on topic.

Silver hachi received downgrade to stock suspension for winter driving. Thnans to Kas for helping out. We changed suspension on his car too. All in all last saturdays in 4-5 hours we changed suspension front and rear suspension on 2 AE86 includig going to coffy and eating chevapi

I did some minor work on "white comet", but for now I'm focusing on building one fresh 4A-GE. I prepared crankshaft with new big end and main bearings for that engine. Next step will be the engine block and then I'll do the head.
I just want to build one nice spare 4a-ge, just in case.

And yes, I'm more rare on the forum writing, but I do try to read all the post here every day.
Mux can confirm that.

Maybe it's time to raise this topic from the dead after some time.
Silver AE86 sits most of the time in the garage doing nothing. I'm building fresh 4A-GE for this car. I would like to make it mild tuned car usuable for daily driving, not a drift project. This means removing od the roll cage, bucket seat, coilovers (already done).
I've put stock suspension to the silver one but I'm not happy at all with that. I think koni suspension is going back on the car (but not unusable AE92 short stroke version), but normal AE86, just bit stiffer for enthusiastic driving.
Regarding the engine, bluetop, stock internals and cams, just some intake and some exhuast with new oil pump, water pump, bearings and rigns.
I see no point of building tuned 4A-GE beacues it's expencive and the results are limited to max 140-150hp. I'm no mr. Newera, situated in Japan with lots of "cheap" parts.

Good news is that WHITE AE86 will be (re)born from the dead but with some new parts and I'm looking to that (after long time I feel excited about cars).

Also there is an indicatian that I will sell my silver AE85 that is also doing nothing last half year.

Regarding the White AE86s ressurection..You'll laugh when you see just how easy "it" goes in. I could take some pics for you if you send me a spare T25 you must have lying about :wink: (T28 would be fine too..feel free to add r's and s's where applicable ghe ghe..just joking).
