Our adjustable shortstroke AE86 suspension needs no introduction. Its performance has seen it fitted to AE86's on every continent but here at MCNSPORT we are always working on developing parts for the AE86 chassis and our parts developer, tester and Professional Drifter Darren "D-Mac" McNamara has been hard at work developing a new range and improving the current range

Lets take a look at the improvements on the fronts



All our D-Mac/AVO AE86 Adjustable Front Inserts now come with these alloy insert locators



The insert locators fit perfectly over the insert body and are a perfect fit with the inside diameter of the ae86 front strut so the insert is perfectly centered in the strut



Here are the 3 front strut gland nuts you are likely to come across. From left to right is the aftermarket shortstroke nut, aftermarket longstroke nut and original oil filled strut nut. Our insert locator works with all three and heres how



The shortstroke gland nut locates on the second ring



The longstroke gland nut locates on the third ring



The original oil filled strut gland nut has a chamfered edge on the underside



This locates on the top ring


Lets move to the rears and this is where most of the development has been done

Our rear coilovers come with both road and competition spring options. With the road spring option your car will handle bumps on the road much better than any other suspension you have used before and be more comfortable. New to the range are our Longstroke D-Mac/AVO Adjustables. These are perfect for UK spec ae86's that are just moderately lowered or hard driven road cars with more ground clearance. These have been designed with street car is mind

The new Longstroke D-Mac/AVO Adjustables are 3.5inches total length longer than the shortstrokes. Thats 1.75inches on the piston and 1.75inches on the body

Really you would be better off to sell them privately. We carry a lot in stock and order many at a time so we would be offering you much less than you could get yourself on the second hand market

If you are willing to ship to us then you would be willing to ship around europe so should find a buyer easy enough

Competition springs are 250lbs. we find the best results with these springs but the shocks can accept higher and lower spring rates without re-valving. Up to a point obviously
