Hehe It wasn't a big problem, just felt a little bit more wheelspin from inside tyre as I went over your fuel-trail..nothing major

It was a nice day..very busy. Done 4 laps..would've done more as usual but it was a bit too busy at some times..too much risk.

I was the noob on there, it was my second time on the ring.
Lol i thought wtf is he yelling about.
It wasnt my tank that was leaking but the feul came out of the air pipe on top of the tank.
I have a alu race tank in the back of my car.

Michel,

what video editing/converting software are you using? I'm trying to get the video lap we made with CF converted to something usable but it either comes out looking like shit or is much to big....


*edit* Nice vid btw!!! I see its a pretty big file as well...

I'm just using Windowzzz Moviemaker..kinda sucks I know but it does the job I guess.. it's pretty good quality which makes the file rather big..

You could try to find Pineapple Studio..that utility rocks but it's quite huge for "just" making a vid..

Yeah I used moviemaker aswell but at a lower setting to get the filesize down. I also use powerproducer which is very good for capturing for and then burning DVD, but it is not good for editing and converting files. It does make mpegs which I have some other tools for aswell so I'm trying to get it down to the right size.

I just watched the entire clip of CFs lap to see where you passed him. Well you can't miss it hehehehe...

Thing is, CFs car is noicy, the diff whines, the air rushes past loudly, the supercharger isn't that noicy but still, its enough to totally drown out any other noice from cars around you....

But then at 1/3rd of the clip or so, you suddenly hear a blacktop.. and hear it getting louder... and louder... and ZOEF, suddenly a GTI blasts by and you quickly see it disappear in the distance.

THAT THING OF YOUR IS LOUD! And I MEAN LOUD!!!

Also funny to see that CF didn't realize something could be wrong till the very end... first hear him wonder if people are getting upset with him for being to slow and not signaling they can pass hehehe

Its a nice lap though, especially considering its his second lap ever. I'll see if I can upload it somewhere later on..

Michel: Where you driving a black GTI?

I had a great time and talked to a lot of nice people - both with 86s and other cars. I even had a ride as co-driver that showed what an old Corolla can do with the right driver (scary s***) Thanks again! Here is a pic of the monster:


We had a couple of laps as well and the car handled well. It steered in nicely, balance was good and the brakes didn't fade. Only had one problem: Tires! They are ok for road but on the track they where no good, but thats a lesson learned
