Mine's E.C.U Question
Hi there
Thank you for keeping this topic interesting, on the first diagram it mentions something regarding on earthing the E.C.U I already got a reply from MINE'S JAPAN, they will fax me a true copy of the instruction & installation manual. As soon as I recieved the fax I will post it here as well. Good luck with the CUSCO M.F.E I will try to contact my CUSCO Japan for you for the instruction & installation manual as well. |

Mine's E.C.U Question
The Mines works the same way as the Cusco MFE, switch positions and functions.
I'm using a Cusco MFE on a U.K Zenki '86 the only issue is the Oxygen sensor input that the Cusco can support but my U.K car does not have. The ecu can: change fueling and make it rich or lean by 6% 12% 25% or 50% change ignition timing via a more aggressive map (switchable) and a potentiometer for small adjustments. allow or disallow oxygen sensor remove rev. limit allow fitment of high lft cams and let the idle fueling be done by volume allow selection of four different programs within the ecu it will also run as stock if you set all of the switches to "off" I'm running a smallport engine on this ecu and I can definately feel a difference between the stock ignition map and the Cusco one. There are people running ITB's with these ecu's Does anyone know what allowing the idle fueling to be done by volume means ? An analogue brain in a digital World |

Mine's E.C.U Question
Please check your email, I answered your question there. However, I made a small mistake. As your car is a Zenki AE86, according to Mine's Japan you must wire a specific wire to the chassis! Please check the location of the E.C.U pin on my diagram.
