Mux213 Levin GTS
Jan,
I've been running the coilovers on the stock perch for nearly 2 years now, Only now I'll do a proper install of them On the stock perch there isn't much use of the adjustablility which is why I'm finally doing the correct conversion albeit long stroke setup for now. I think the quality is very very very good and I definately would recommend them. Top stuff. Only thing is that Luis can be slow to react to emails and such, I guess you'd be best off calling him Greetz, Bastiaan "mux213" Olij Moved down under, no more hachi |

Oh I see. Actually I just got a mail from Luis regarding this matter. I just don't get why T3 camber plates costs $ 50 more than direct from Technotoytuning

Damn forgot my camera again
Awell don't matter cause my car got a bit uglier today I went rust hunting, removed loads of bits of the car to find all the spots of rust because more and more is popping up and I atleast wanne get rid of all the surface rust and get bits welded in where needed before the winter. Rather go into the winter with a car with primer spots all over the place then leave the winter with a car full of holes What amazes me is that the body shell is in better condition than I was starting to fear. I have some problems in the boot, after removing the rear bumper the bottom boot edge of the boot has nice tiny holes I can look through, shouldn't be to much trouble welding a new ledge in. Also behind the left rear wheel there is a nice hole in the body work that needs some welding. But thats it, the rest was all surface rust that can be sanded away. I'm only a little worried that some damage one the jackpoints may be hard to fix properly and start to cause problems some years from now. They did some sort of anti rust treatment on the body work many years ago, I guess it helped.... The real nightmare is my boot lid, but I already knew that, and my doors. Now we fixed the driver side door last year, and indeed it still looks pretty in pretty good nick. Only the damage on the paint I had caused on it due to the wrong fitment of the fiberglass fenders had caused more rust then I had imagined. What did amaze me though is that the window mechanism itself is rusting away badly. I guess the rubbers on the windows are no longer doing a proper job but the front guiders on the window mechanism wont last more then a year or 2 before it disintegrates. On both doors btw. I can't remember seeing this on any other doors, anyone else have this problem? My passenger door is another story, I don't understand how we mist it last year but the underside is rotten to bits. It need to be cut out and welded from front to back I hate rust Greetz, Bastiaan "mux213" Olij Moved down under, no more hachi |

Knudsen I know, and I need to put a layer of normal paint on, and after a number of very dry days, its rained tonight so that'll be more sanding and painting next weekend.. But atleast I've gone around everything which I'm pretty happy with..
(the underside of the doors I did spray a whole layer of other gunk on hopefully making it watter proof.. Greetz, Bastiaan "mux213" Olij Moved down under, no more hachi |

Auch. That sucks.
Remember that I have to face that as well. The bottom of my doors has some bad spots as well. And I have to check my window mechanism as well since my window does not open properly. However: it is good for the workout. 1983 - AE86 Sprinter Trueno - import project 2013 - Honda Civic sport - daily driver 2004 - AEU86 dot ORG - daily domain Support our forum, buy from the AEU86 shop: |

Damn, I hope todays rain hasn't ruined the work I've done yesterday.. awell shouldn't be to bad when the car is parked.. though I'm worried about the sanding I've done on the outside side of the doors.. Greetz, Bastiaan "mux213" Olij Moved down under, no more hachi |
