Sorry for the crappy camara phone picture but after over one month of shipping (thank you post man!) my package from jamiemirror finally arrived.

No idea what made it take so long, I'm guessing the whole bulgaria went EU thing probably made them wonder. That and the fact that it was a small very heavy package with a very descriptive "car parts" written on it hehehe

What did the box contain? well just a few tid bits that I needed and that jamie just happened to have lying around or could easily wip up for me.
2 little 2cm spacers to go into the struts so my tokico's will fit
2 sets of bolts to mount my RCAs
2 clamps that I can clamp on to the struts and on which the coilovers come to rest.

The clamps need a tiny bit of explaining. Because I'm using coilovers I have to remove the standard perch on which the spring normally rests. The coilover sleeves need to be fixed onto the strut somehow and normally this is done by welding a steel ring onto the strut.

Now jamie told me about this alternative about using a ring that you clamp on instead of weld on. Some guy on club4ag already used this setup for the rear suspention and it turns out this is not uncommon. I have some worries it may not stay in place but I figured, why no give it a try.

Anyways, hopefully sometime this week or next week I'll finally get the struts shortened and finish my suspention. Then I'll do that writeup I promised

In fact I issued ticket to track the package when the 3-weeks period was crossed. Now I will not cancel it (it was free service, hmm), hope this takes too long only due to Christmas/New Year holidays.
