Another day spent on the car,
Parklights/headlights fitted, quarter windows fitted, chucked the seats in just to see what they will look like plus lots of other random/odd jobs done

Looks good! Thumbs up!
Only thing i mention is that the right door looks darker from color than the rest of the car right?

Yeah both doors are for some reason, guessing its due to the fact that they were black/silver to start with so thats made them come up darker?
But whatever not worth worrying about its never going to win any awards for its paintwork but its tidy enough for a track hack Smile

You're right and the car already looks a lot better than in the beginning. If you're gonna bring it to track than paintwork is not the most important thing Wink. At least the given paint gives protection to avoid rust. Have fun driving it! Wave

Yeah your dead right, and i think the car has come a lot further then what the pictures actually show, it looks a lot tidyer in those first pictures then what it really was. But don't get me wrong i would love nothing more then for this car to have a perfect paint job, but as i'm sure everyone on here knows shoe string budgets don't allow for that sort of thing Tongue
At the end of the day the paint cost me a few 100 dollars and my time compared to a few 1000dollars if i had taken it to a panel shop

Ha cheers mate, i've actually never driven it last owner thought there was something wrong with the fuel pump so he tried to fix it by rewireing it??????? Angry Yeah good effort buddy needless to say the guy clearly had zero idea what he was doing (power for the fuel pump was hooked up to the high stop light) and made everything worse, thankfully my brother is a sparkie by trade (and a AE86 nut Smile ) so hes been redoing all the wiring and we believe we found why its currently not running which is a bad efi relay
Can't wait till drive it Thumbs up!

I have the same "Corolla LEVIN" boot sticker also, for a AE92. I also ordered mine for a AE86 and they ended up giving me the AE92 one. I suspect the AE86 sticker is out of print and someone figured the newer sticker was similar enough and made the part number supersead it.

Go ahead and use the AE92 sticker, I probably will too.

I will follow this build. It seams like you know what your on about.

Oh, I just read your story again. Where did you get the square font AE86 "LEVIN" sticker from? I need one badly now. Crying

I got the sticker from yahoo auctions japan, you can find all the different coupe and hatchback stickers on there

If you don't know anyone in japan you could try using import monster (http://www.importmonster.com.au) as they buy on your behalf and are based in aussie too, but i've never used them so couldn't comment on their service.
