My childhood dream :-)
Great thanks,... would be nice if the pistons will fit plug `n play. But i went to my Toyota dealer and he told me that one smallport piston is about 200€ without rings
So anybody can give me a good advice which pistons to choose? I got myself a nice stainless header that will be modified....so no problem with that AE86 Full Hybrid - Burns rubber and gasoline |

so close to 1000€ for the set
you can get a toda set for about the same and they are rated 11:1 http://www.toda-racing.co.jp/en/product/...4ag-1.html as you can see they do come with everything rods hmm since your not going crazy you could use the OEM ones, just have em balanced maybe. on the other side since you have it appart anyway you could throw in something stronger so you're prepared for the future... you know you want more power some day |

I have a set of used smallport pistons in stock if you want.
(in a really good condition, they just need new rings) |

Hm.... i was actually hoping for something less expensive. It´s my first engine built from scratch.... so if it blows i don´t want to loose all my funds
As for the rods... maybe i´ll take the ones from Bielle. AE86 Full Hybrid - Burns rubber and gasoline |

I´m almost done gathering all the parts i need for my little build. I read about people using the headbolts from the 4AGE while others took the ones from the 7AFE... but they differ in lenght so which ones to choose?

Following the logic, the bolt length is determined by the design of the head, you´re using 4AGE head so you need 4AGE bolts, as the block don´t make no difference.

i follow your post, i have 7AFE i have just a few parts for build it !
In searching on internet i found this, i know it's very expensive but it's good alternative to use 4age flywheel. http://www.spoolimports.com/spool-stroke...7afe-7agze |

Jep, those are nice bits but not for my use  I´ll have the 7AFE flywheel lightend and balanced and use a bigger clutch. And honestly i don´t care if the flywheel is held by 6 or 8 bolt´s... Toyota engineers aren´t fools and my car won´t drive worse just because of that
