My first summer with my Corolla
Hey guys, you tough about seeing some photos, well... it ain't that! Cool

The fact is, the summer is hot, the car is fine but the warm on my feet is so high that I've melted my shoes!!!! Yeah! Melted...... The exhaust pipes course is below our feet and with the hot weather is impossible to make a long trip.

So, basically i am looking for a solution, cause... my feet are burned! Tongue Tongue

Anyone had the same problem?

Regards

3 options:

1) wrap the exhaust
2) place a shield above exhaust
3) let your girlfriend drive

You have the same problem with your hachi?

Maybe it's a problem with my exhaust piping....

Nice 3 options, but....

1) Warping the pipe below the car it not a good solution, it catches dirt, water, heat and it will be messed up too fast...
2) Placing a shield could be a good one, maybe directly to the pipe, using some kind of supports...
3) She only drives in abandoned airfields..... if you know what i mean.... Thumbs up!

Well if you don't want to wrap it you could have it ceramic coated or wrap your shoes.
4 option would be to fit heatprotection mats either on the body outside or inside.

Dyna-Mat makes heat insulation padding that you can apply to the floorpan under your carpeting. It's widely used in race cars and street rod applications and works very well.
