I paid $970 incl shipping. The flywheel weighs 9 lbs according to Max, but I didn't check it...

Hey Jan, I see this is a lightweight driveshaft. Can you tell me the weight of the OEM one and the weight of this one? Also, I assume that (apart from the weight) the one-piece design will benefit throttle response. Any other advantages? And what would be the disadvantage? There must be something since Toyota went for the two-piece driveshaft. Any info will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I'm not quite sure how much the oem driveshaft weighs, but I'll check when I get it off the car Smile

The only thing I can think of is that the gearbox and rear end doesn't line exactly up. That could course more wear on a one peice rather than the oem-one. Didn't really think of this before now, but maybe someone else could throw some light on the subject...

Dorito: Stock drive shaft weighs about 9,5 kg and the one peice is about 5,5 kg so there is quite a diffence Smile

Thanks Worholm! I really want to show it off as well Cool

New drive shaft is mounted. Front light are adjusted, grill and fog lights are on the car as well. Side skirts are mounted as well Thumbs up!
