Need a little HELP with the diff rebuild
hi there i am about to rebuild my rear end and i would like to replace the bearings too.i have found these:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/KOYO-Rear...dZViewItem and they say it is for the AE86 kuoki version(1985-87) but i have an a zenki(1983-85) i wanted to ask you all if they are going to fit in my diff.thanks a lot |

i think the half-shafts (axles) are different diameter between kouki and zenki - so i dont think so. not sure though..

Need a little HELP with the diff rebuild
The spline at the end of the half-shaft is different size but the bearing's inner diameter is the same on both axles, as is the axle housing itself. So those bearings will work on both zenki and kouki.
I checked it from EPC as well - the Toyota part number for the AE86..GT bearing kit is 04421-14010 and fits cars manufactured between 8308-8707. |
