Many have requested to give Darren some money to go to the USA to compete at the Irwindale competition(D1GP). I will keep a running total of his donations here on this thread, so check back often.

WE got invited over by the head of D1GP USA !

Darren does not need to qualify or anything for this event.

Do you on wana be a part of helping the first European driver compete in a points scoring rd of D1 GP .? ?

Who else can say that they got an invited to a D1 GP event, dont think you got an invite KristianAE86 :wink:

I have no invite.

But i COULD HAVE HAD ONE - if i had the money to go to the drivers search.

but on the otherhand - I doubt it you guys would have travelled all the way to Sweden for a D1 Drivers search.

For me to get there & back home with the car on a trailer... it would´ve cost me something like 900 E.


i know i´m quite capable of qualifying - but have no funds to get me there.

PS.. another reflection over the European D1-search - is that I have an national/international Drift licens,signed by the Swedish Motorsport Federation - 2005

I´m NOT - according to FIA regulations - allowed to participate on NON FIA-sanctioned events. which the Drivers search was. -

So you cannot participate in any NON FIA-sanctioned events so ? If so you wont be qualifying in next years Drivers search.

FIA are not a part of the Irish nor the Uk drift scene in anyway at all.If they were their would have D1 in Ireland or the UK.
