wow wow, my friend, In portugal its all about "Wangan". We dont have many mountains arround our main cities, so this kind of racing its been arround for years. Bridges with 14 km´s straight and long motorways. You would be surprised if I told you that the 300 km/h mark is often beaten.

Make a search on youtube with the keyword VDG (stands for Vasco da Gama), witch is the longest bridge in Portugal.

Sounds like I will take the hachi on my vacation to portugal, when I finally plan to go there

Here, (czech) initial D is getting more and more popular. Unfourtunetly, "popular" as in popular amongst the fifteen years old kids who think that NFS Carbon is the ultimate touge simulation

This really made my day!! I've been reading the comic of Wangan Midnight all day. I'm still not sure I like this series. But then there is this bit when after a race with a Ferrari, our Z driver (who has his TEACHER! as a passenger) decides to take the scenic tour up to the mountains.

And he sais this:
Z: "Me? I'm going to drive up the mountain for a bit, what about you?"
Teacher: "ah that sounds fun, mind if I come along then instead?"
Z: "Sure but, there are only curves up ahead so it won't be that enjoyable!"

Damn this seriously is the exact opposite of initial D Straight line driving at full throttle is all they care about, encounter a simple bend and they crash....
