New wheelbearings, why so expensive?!
HI!

i´m gonna install my new lsd in the next few weeks and i think i will get a set of new wheelbearings after removing the driveshafts, but why are they so expensive.

oem toyotas costs in austria over 200euros (1 peace) and aftermarket 105 euro, is there a way to get cheaper ones?

Find a Koyo distributor and order DAC 357245 CWRS. It replaces the original AWRS.

In Denmark i can get it for 500 dkr, thats around 70E

Should be possible, its not a special bearing only used for toyotas

Well, the original bearing on my Zenki was a DAC 357245 AWRS (35=inner diameter, 72=outer diameter, 45=bearings thickness) and i called our local bearing distributor that told me that "AWRS" was replaced with CWRS.

But take a look at the old bearing or take the mearsures before ordering a new. If your car i newer than 1985 it might have a slightly different bearing (caused by thicker axels)

If you have Beck Arnley parts available in your area, you can use those as well, they're just re-boxed KOYO bearings.

BA Part number is 051-3884 (Includes bearings and retainers)
