First: Welcome here...
Second: Do yourself a big favour and download the factory manuals (look in the sticky topics in the tech section). Third: Although the manual also describes this: To get the distributor back in properly you need to line up a line on the shaft going in to the engine and a dimple in the bit right above that shaft (fixed bit) It might be 2 lines or some other indicator depending on which type of distributor you have, but that is how it's done. Once you've lined up the marks, you have to put the distributor in, trying to keep it centered in it's range of adjustment. Fourth: I would advise you to get a timing gun, find the location of the check connector on your loom, and set the timing to 10deg BTDC FABRICA MI DIEM, PVNC! |
