for the "purists" the only displacement replacement swap would be a Franken 7AG, or similar stroked "A" engine...

Well if you go V8, UZ it, light alloy block and even on standard management more than enough power. The assembly with a W58/ R154 is lighter than a similar LS combo and to keep the purist theme light is still the most important thing on an AE86!

10kg lighter then an LS1 engine making 100+hp more and a shitload of torque, 50kg heavier then an F20C that makes 20 less hp. Jup, great compromise

Hmmmm my 1UZ made 240WHP stock... then turbo made 500WHP, had it in a MKIV Supra. I would go for the 3UZ if I was to go UZ again...
