Oil from head to air collector in 4age when drifting left.
Need your help! I've got very high compression ratio in my 4age (about 16 bars), and when I'm drifting left oil from head goes to air collector and leaks from air filter. The cable that you see in red circle on the picture was straight and it was TERRIBLE. Now it's a bit better, but still not good. Anyone had problem like this, how did you solved this?

Been covered many times... search and you will find Smile Basically you
need to take that hose into a "catch can" to separate the oil, then take a
vent hose back to the inlet manifold. Use a sealed can with a level tube on
the outside, and empty the can when you have half a litre of oil inside Smile

You can buy a catch can from a car accessories store, or make one
yourself if you have some tools. You can easily see how they are made
by making a search on the web.

Discharging oil into the intake requires two things... sustained high
rpm to pump a lot of oil up into the cam covers, and a long, high speed
left turn. This "centrifuges" the excess oil over to the right of the head
where the crankcase vent is located. It is then blown out the vent tube,
and finds its way into the air intake.

Usually only a problem with the TVIS bigport motors, as smallport and
later motors had better oil drains from the head.

The tube that you see entering the side of the plenum is channeled
internally up a duct that vents into the intake just in front of the throttle
butterfly. Some will get sucked into the engine to make smoke Tongue Some
will drain down to the filter.

Google "Cusco" or "Greddy" and "catch can" to see two examples of a
universal sealed can. There are other cheaper ones around, available
from auto parts supermarkets.

What gon said is the best idea... just swap camp covers left to right and run a catch can if you want.
