Oldschool games!
Hey All,
Nothing to do with cars even I ran into this this weekend and had a ball, all the old games I used to play for hours and hours when I was a kid http://www.abandonia.com/index2.php Also this will help you play them, a great DOSBox with much better support for old games then the windows cmdbox has: http://dosbox.sourceforge.net/download.php?main=1 I wasted most of my sunday playing Another World, that game is still as great as when I first played it. They don't make many quality games like that anymore Its all doom clones now... Greetz, Bastiaan "mux213" Olij Moved down under, no more hachi |

Mux,
another world was a great game - done by the same people who did the original prince of persia I believe. Some of my faves from the commodore64 Boulderdash Paradroid Countless others like riverraid, frezy etc the list is huge. I have a c64 emulator for my Xbox and still go back to boulderdash even in this day and age. Regards Ian. |

Paradroid!
I was busy on making my own in JavaScript (IE only): http://www.banpei.net/paradroid/paradroid2.html (works, but does nothing) Edit: found it! Only the second works and you can only walk with the droid. No edge detection or whatever. Just plain move the droid. P.S. Use the numeric keys to move it. 1983 - AE86 Sprinter Trueno - import project 2013 - Honda Civic sport - daily driver 2004 - AEU86 dot ORG - daily domain Support our forum, buy from the AEU86 shop: |

I didnt have a computer when i was a kid... i got my first PC at the age of 15. I was a child of a console. Super Nintendo was it. Still have it today, jacked into my tv tuner, waiting to comfort my nostalgia outbursts.

Well, my first computer was a Philips P2000T. Great computer, little games. So my brother and I used to program stuff by ourself.
Ofcourse we had enough friends and family with ataris and c64s. After a while my stepdad bought got a PC through his work: the first Compaq computer. A portable PC which weighted about 25kg. Most favorite (retro) games: Paradroid Grandprix (c64) Boulderdash Last Ninja Soldier of Fortune Choplifter Spyhunter Zaxxon Oh, those were the days. 1983 - AE86 Sprinter Trueno - import project 2013 - Honda Civic sport - daily driver 2004 - AEU86 dot ORG - daily domain Support our forum, buy from the AEU86 shop: |
