Hahaha, I was soo stoked to find this project in my google search!
I'm about to start putting a gen 2 3sge from my donor celica into my ae82 FX GT! I've not done anything like this before and I'm kind of throwing myself in the deep end. Do you have any really detailed photos of where the new mounts and things went in? How bad was the wiring etc? Current Cars: '86 SE82 FX GT '88 NZ New KE70 Van (Daily) |

I know this is a 3 year old thread, but I'm beginning to attempt this and need some info.
1: How hard was the wiring? Did you use your old gauge cluster? Did you have to remove the dash? 2: I have a 91 MR2 Turbo parts car setting around. Could I use parts (wiring, mounts, hubs, suspension parts, eta) from this for the swap? If the OP or anybody else has any info on this, I would be very thankful! |
