Question About TRIM

hi i want to buy some internal parts for my car when i get the part number i found this

AE86..2D BLACK,TRIM2#
AE86..2D BLACK,TRIM8#

what is the difference Trim2# and Trim8 #? where i can found information about this?

Looking at other interior parts it goes:
Trim2 = black
Trim3 = deep maroon (brown?)
Trim8 = blue

Not sure about this, but those are coincidentally the only interior colors I've ever seen on zenki coupes.

Browse around the interior parts in epc and you'll see the same trim numbers coming up everywhere.

Yes Ivan is correct on this for the zenki (pre-facelift) type.
Trim code 2 = grey (SR5 and AE85)
Trim code 3 = deep maroon (brown/tan)
Trim code 8 = blue (AE86, SR5 and AE85)

For the kouki (facelift) it's much simpler: all interiors were black/grey so they all have trim code 2

You can find the trim code on the firewall ID plate where it will have a code similar to GX21, FQ32, YA82 or something similar. Here the first digit is the trim code of your car and the second digit is 1 for facelift and 2 for pre-facelift. (I know, this really makes no sense! )
