No.
Im still learning about engines and cars. That means that i dont know how to do that. I never got engine failures with mij MR2 so i never tryed a thing like that. But some explaining would be nice. Connect one of the tapped openings on the trottle body to the other opening on the filter box. Even better - you can add manually controlled VISV - from a junkyard toyota. just take it with the connector and install it. It may look a little bit different if newer model but the function is the same. Bluetop has two VISVs - one on the filter and one controlling the TVIS. Redtop Small port also has two - one on the filter and one controlling the fiel pressure regulator. AE86 GTS '84 Red Top |

I have no filter box ... I use a Sparco filter instead...
So what am i supposed to do to by-pass it? AE86 FANATIC!!! |
