If the price is right - buy them !
As seen - they can easily be dismountled from their rails. |

The price is 250!!!!!!!!!!!
They will for sure need a good cleaning and of course the rails (which are my biggest problem). Will I be sitting to high? Will everything work good? danielvanderwoude Wrote:looks like the nmwisima joke saved you in the endhttp://www.jdmbits.com |

In fact the front part of these rails is similar to AE86 ones, the rear section is different. Don't know about the rail-to-rail distance (measure it ?).

You can modify some standard rails to work, or get a set of rails from Japan like i had to.
New ones cost around 150 euro each delivered, second hand around 100 euro delivered, not that cheap i know but the main problem is the rear section as the mounts are not level. but a good engineering shop could modify the ones that are on it to fit i'm sure. |

I have subaru impreza seat rails in my ae86 with Sparco Evo buckets.
Not much of a problem to fit it in hachi. Drifting - best fun you can have in your car with your pants on! |

I have Integra Type R Recaro seats in my Hachi, the bolt pattern on those seats was 430mm wide, as is with most Recaro seats. You should measure that.
There are a variety of seat rails available for the AE86, but I never saw a set myself and can thus not comment on seat position, quality or fitment. I heard though that Wiechers rails are of bad quality and ill-fitting. I took my AE86 seat rails, and did a spacer to bolt them to the Recaros, it can easily be made of flat steel. I did it even twice, as I was not satisfied with the initial seat position, I moved the seat about 4cm more towards the center of the car, now the seat position is just fine. Height is ok now, that is a point you should check before buying aftermarket rails... hth Patrick |
