Rear Caliper Rebuild
Hi Guys,
I am going for the RX7 FD calipers for the front of my build and the standard AE86 calipers on the rear. The RX7s came with a Mazda rebuild kit but I'm not sure Toyota would supply such a kit anymore! Can anyone recommend OR KNOW where I can find a pair of rebuild kits that are good quality? Many Thanks, Matt |

Top tip !
Use only the rubber grease supplied in the kit ! Matt, are you going to do the handbrake mechanism too ? If you are and you are in the U.K I could send you the special nut required to hold down a spring in the caliper. It is actually part of an old brake piston so you could make one yourself if you have an old AE86 rear caliper piston. An analogue brain in a digital World |

I'll be replacing the cables etc I will either be sending them away to be done and high temp powdercoated or MIGHT tackle it myself. Just wanting it to be as near as new mechanicals as I can! I am indeed in the UK, anything that would help would be appreciated! |
