it's an extra tax above the normal taxes.
For new cars it was somewhere around 30-40 percent (if i'm correct).

This is a fine you'll get when you buy a car (or import it from another country). The BPM will get less if the car is older, but still it's a big amount.

why then just buy the AE86, and then straightly hammer the Corolla Sedan/HB chassiscode in it?

If you are going to do that kinda stuff, just don't bother about registrate it

I know they use that trick in Tjechie when importing cars older then 7 years since you are not allowed to import cars older then 7 years. But the thing there is that they use a chassis code of the same type of car. Using the chassis code of another type of car will get you into trouble. BTW, this procedure is semi-legal in Tjechie!!!

If you do this in Holland, be prepared to spend some time behind bars.

we have a measurement normal hachi go around 2 we can have 5..... american hachi are cleaner if you import one of those they are difrent

There must be away around that euro2 rule, is there some oldtimer club in slovenia that has experience importing older cars into slovenia? If this is true there is no way to get an old car on license in your country.
