Replacing of the bushings
Guys, i'm still waiting for report of instaling the group buy bushings.
Not that much about the impresions of handling, because i know it will be a big improvement, but on how did you change the bushings. Especially on rear four trailing arms. I have a big problem with removing stuck bolt inside the bushing. ![]() ![]() I tried lot's of aproaches, but non of them worked except the angle grinder + cuting the bolt head. Please post some of your ideas. Drifting - best fun you can have in your car with your pants on! |

Replacing of the bushings
Aico Wrote:2m metal tube um, not working, since bolt is rotating inside the trailing arm housing. whole bushing is rotating when you unscrew the bolt, but there is no force apllying on the bolt, so you are not pushing it out. We tried today to weld the nut on the other side of the rear side of the bolt, but the weld broke of, but bolt did not go out. Drifting - best fun you can have in your car with your pants on! |

Replacing of the bushings
@Zax,
Everthing on my car did come lose very easy, gues I was extreem lucky if you consider the age of the car. Maybe the flexgrinder is a option, than you only have put on a new bold and nut. Michel Daily driver: Seat Leon Cupra V6 Summercar: E30 M3 Cecotto Projectcar: AE86 |

Replacing of the bushings
When I took my spare axle appart it had all the arms attached (although the long ones where cut off half way). I got all the bolts out just fine except one. It has rusted to the metal insert inside the bushing so there is no way to get that loose except for cutting that bolt which I will do next time I have some time..
I hope I will be more lucky when I replace the axles... Greetz, Bastiaan "mux213" Olij Moved down under, no more hachi ![]() |

Most of the bolts on the hachi haven't been removed in 20 years most if it just has to be heatet up then it will release.
