Don't know if it's an error of somekind....

EDIT: Actually, with your post it was showing 14 pages.. but i see now that my post made the 14th page to appear...

Getting closer: for me those topics are perfectly fine... However if I log out it doesn't look fine at all... So at least I can now try to find out what's going wrong here.
Maybe I should make you all a super moderator?

Me having trouble sleeping = analyzing stuff on my phone.

MyBB is creating a second page because the post count is off. If you look at the topic overview it says: Replies
Now a topic with 10 replies should have 11 posts hence the second page. The problem seems to be that the initial post is regarded as a reply after you switched over to MyBB.

A query should fix it. Have a look here:

There is no separator between "View Today's Posts" and "Advanced Search".

Does mybb have a plugin that allows you to see the last x topic on the front page of the forum like the old one did? I found that extremely useful to see if anyone was posting something interesting. It's too hidden if you need to go to "view today's posts".

Awesome! That did the trick!

What went wrong is that I have been stubborn and reverse engineered most of the database schema myself and not looked at the documentation.
In this case the table definition is:

The fields firstpost and lastpost both are integers (int and bigint) where firstpost reflects the opening post identifier and lastpost the unix timestamp of the last post. I actually inserted the unix timestamp of the firstpost and not the post identifier...

Fixed the seperator as it was an alignment problem due to the top menu being too large.

I'll have a look if I can find a similar "last x topics" plugin.
