Representing all my NorthWest(usa) drifters
Hey all, I'm a huge fan of drifting, and an even bigger fan of the eight six. I currently have a 1986 corolla hatch SR5 sitting dead in my garage, and a 99 accord for my daily. I'm saving up (and waiting) to find a decent stock GT-S, but all the ones around here seem to 88+. Anyways, I was happy to find this site, and all the info it has.

that is how it looked when I got it. (USD$500) It's now half painted white (poorly) and has a new hood (stolen from the local junkyard, they wanted $80 and it's a pos) and a new fender on the passenger side, with a hole where the antenna was. It has eibach lowering springs, tokico gas shocks, a front strut bar, and some 22% tint all around. It's become my parts car becuase the master cylinder is shot and the rear drums have bonded to the pads. The transmission is pretty much dead (thanks to me). Not to mention I put it into a ditch while drifting (testing out my new suspension), then I rear ended a honda because my master cylinder went dead and that did something to make it not start, and I really havn't had the drive to make it run again because I want an eight six, but I want a GT-S instead and a GT-S conversion takes a rediculous amount of parts, so I would rather just spend less money and get a GT-S and spend the extra money on new parts. |

replacing the master cilinder and fixing the brakes isnt very difficult, and isnt even expensive...but if the transmission is shot and the engine wont run then it's kind-of a lost cause. Wish you good luck finding a GT-S.

There are actually a lot of GT-S's that go on sale here, the AE86 hasn't gotten to popular statestide, and by inexpensive I mean under $2k.

Here
There is one that is fairly modified for under $5,000. I have seen many more in the past, there just aren't many for sale at this moment. Just have to keep watching the market. |

Lol, that army Hachi has been up before... I wouldn't pay $2000 for that.
