Robokill's AE86 Progress and Planning
Hi there,

I have a Silver AE86 Levin coupe from 1986.

The car runs pretty good with some points.....

Crown and pinion wheel have space and need to be replaced. Engine is badly tuned making it run very bad (though compression is 15.5 on the the first 2 and 16 on the last 2)

Having the car so badly tuned it uses to much gas after a CO2 test it came to 0.3 (holland may have 0.5)

I have some space in my steering and i just orderd some new parts to remove the space and recreate a good steeringhouse.

I already have 2 yellow adjustable koni's for the front still have to buy the rear and searching for a set of good springs.

Though the engine is pretty good in its current state (without the bad tuning) I want to do a complete rebuild with:

82.00 Bore
Wiseco Pistons (highcomp)
Flowed head
4-1 header
Lightentflywheel
Bigger injectors
Bigger gaspump

For the car

Koni setup
TRD LSD 2way
Panda paintet
Most parts avaible for fibreglass
Replace lockset
good alarm system
Konig Rewind rims

Than its time for a second want :-)

I'll be posting pics soon

You got quite some plans my friend Smile any idea how soon you will realize your TRD LSD?

He attacked everything in life with a mix of extrordinary genius and naive incompetence, and it was often difficult to tell which was which.

Hey Robo,

Smart choice to go and concentrate on getting your current hachi all fixed up. Working on to many projects at the same time is killer. Sounds like you got a good plan envisioned.

Senna, TRD LSD isn't a really big deal, just costs $$$.

Senna, first focus on getting your car fixed up dude, you can buy all these nice goodies but if in the end your car falls appart because you haven't first done the things you should have done first....

Focus on getting your rust problems fixed, then start looking for further solutions...

gmbh? isnt that just the abbreviation used to indicate what kind of company it is? Like BV or NV in the netherlands? (or inc. in the US)

FABRICA MI DIEM, PVNC!

and how i am driving it now

real jobs done are the fenders cleaned the JDM plastic mounted with steel railed shit and remade them with a lot of handwork to the old JDM fenders.

Rims replaced for now. New MOT on the car. Steering is fixed.

plans for the winter and with my 13th month

final drive kit
start building new engine
getting ready to start working on the paintjob

after all its done its a matter of timing i want to do the paintjob when i replace the engine so that i can paint the engine bay.

for the winter i will need a new set of tires caus my rear ones are slicks now thats not so bad but if mister police man stops me or i get involved in an accident and they see this it could be i won't get anyhting.
