NoHachi, interesting, that is basically the suspension setup I was running on my car, front was roughly 6.25 to 6.5 and read 4.5 Big Grin I loved the way my car handled with that setup.

Aint that the truth... It's sitting in front of the door at the moment.
Needs a new engine mount on the side I didnt fix earlier as it has torn apart because of the incorrect angle at which it sits.
Also needs the propshaft shortened as the current one is too long, because of which the rear axle is adjusted too far back, which causing the springs to eat the coilovers (rubbing).

Had a little liposuction in the arse area....here is an example to all those who think flat black is a great idea for a car. The bumper is painted in fresh flat (matte) black, the rest of the car used to be black too... Confused

Furthermore, the propshaft has been shortened and rebalanced.. should now
allow us to run stock 4-link lengths.

On to some more painting, wiring and another engine mount modification.

Just repaint the front bumber and sideskirts. Its gonna be a very unique kind of two-tone paintjob then

Is that rust on the rear arches? Huh

Nah, that my friend is what the previous owner called a rust "repair". Cool
Not to worry though, plenty of rust left around the car. All the important and load bearing parts are 100% rust free, so for a track slut its ok.

Okay.. propshaft is fitted again. The rear needs adjusting again now to get it to stock position, but that can wait a bit.
Next on the list is cleaning up the hole around the gearlever. It was grinded open and bashed in to make the 180SX gearbox fit, but we need better access to get some oil back in there, like many 180sx gearboxes, our has a firmly stuck oil fill bolt...(glad we found that out before draining it all).

Hmmm, reminds me of this Peugeot 304 I spotted last saturday: it was also painted flat black... But then with blackboard paint and apparently lots of people already drew "decals" with chalk on it. I really liked that idea! Smile

Yeah its cool until the first day that it rains and the car is transformed into something that looks like a rusty concrete bunker.

I was hoping that flat black would be a good racing colour. Any minor contact scratches -> out comes the rattlecan and she's as good as new. Not the case. Flat black collects dirt and dust like crazy. I have no idea how you can keep it in good shape AND drive it regularly under all conditions.
