Small update:
High tech boost leak testing: put cap in place of airfilter pump it up and listen for hisses and whistles. Worked like a charm! @nmwisima: Finished article: FABRICA MI DIEM, PVNC! |

The VDO's are mostly old volkswagen/audi stuff from the 80's. Vintage
![]() I played around with some iPhone software in the car. 0-100kph 6.07s 1/4 mile: 13.67s Horsepower seems near impossible to measure. Smooth acceleration in second yields around 130whp, but the car never really seems to pick up decently on the boost. Acceleration through the gears gives 210whp, which is far too much on the stock setting. Right now it should be sitting near 170whp/190crank. This is without any boost control, waste gate settings overshooting stock boost to a total of around 0.6bar. Everything is mapped for 1Bar boost and I'll try and see what happens when I open up the bleed valve again. A wheel to steer the front of the car A pedal to steer the rear |

But where does the radio unit go? I bet you can shave a couple of seconds of your downhill run just by cranking up some eurobeat.
