Can someone make a cartoon about 86s being shit cars now. How about this for a premise: Our hero drives an 86 (old or new, doesn't matter) and in every episode he gets made fun of for his shit car.

If you look far and wide and you know how to haggle, you'll be able to find 86's you can afford. There's only one small downside: there are tons of things that need to be fixed, but that's part of the journey in my opinion.

Oh btw, before I forget; MR2 AW11's are extremely similair to ae86's! The only real difference is that the engine is in the middle of the car instead of in the front. There is one other difference; you can buy them for as low as 2k!

You're unlikely to know about this as it was long before you joined the forum, but I owned an AE86 for about 6 years. Also owned an AW11, an AE82 and an AE92.

I like the plot twist: (spoiler alert!) Bunta ditches the 22b in favour of the GR86!

I'm not sure if this is the original as I already found various awful mashups including one ASMR one.

Makes me wanna buy the new GR 86. Too bad dutch sales tax killed it off before this car could even touch the roads here. Maybe I’ll import a used one from germany in half a decade, only if it doesn’t get takumi-tax on top of it.
