Smoking
I quit smoking Yesterday. After 16 years of smoking I thought I really should stop. Bad for my health and good for my wallet.
It's a bit weird feeling, but I'm getting used to the feeling of being empty. I have these stupid nicotine tablets I am suppose to suck on when it gets really annoying, but they taste like an ashtray which is not very tasty. So I still lack nicotine and only take them when I almost make a run for cigarettes at the local gasstation. Reason why I opened this topic was because I'm curious how many of you are smokers, non-smokers, quitters or quited and started again. And smoking does not include burning rubber on your rear tires. 1983 - AE86 Sprinter Trueno - import project 2013 - Honda Civic sport - daily driver 2004 - AEU86 dot ORG - daily domain Support our forum, buy from the AEU86 shop: |

Smoking
I've never been a smoker...never saw the point in starting.
I wish you the best of luck for your attempt to stop though, from what I have seen with other people, the succes depends highly on your strength of will. FABRICA MI DIEM, PVNC! |

Smoking
Damn,
I am obviously a minority Must be extra hard livin in amsterdam  All the best banpei, hope it works for you bud. I never tried to stop but I guess I should at some point. Its weird - I never smoked ciggies until I started smoking grass as a student. I've been toying with the idea of seeing a hypnotist to stop me smoking the marlboros only - wonder if it will work. Regards Ian. |

Smoking
I hope you manage to quit, I've seen too many people say they've quit and then 5 minutes later their smoking again. It is possible to quit though and you'll see and feel the benefits when you manage to do it.

Smoking
It takes a lot to quit, but it takes a lot more not starting again!
I was a smoker for at least 15 years, and quit sept. 2001...... Still love the smell though. Funny thing, after a week or so, you will notice your smell and taste are getting better. After 2-3 weeks the worst part is over. Then it's just a matter of not starting again! Keep up!! Disclaimer: Any errors in spelling, tact, or fact are transmission errors. |
