Currently working on my masters thesis in Civil Engineering (Dynamic Traffic Management and Modelling section). Hope to be ready by september, drive the Amsterdam Dakar rallye shortly after that and then start a 4 year PhD period...That means I'll remain broke for at least the coming 5 years..good thing the secondary terms of employment are ok..

Car money comes from a yob at the hospital (no I am NOT a nurse ).

I have had my own computer consultancy company for the last 8 years since I stopped working for other people.

These days I mainly operate as a systems architect and lead developer on other peoples projects. I have to build systems using Java or Microsoft .NET technology on both windows and unix server platforms. Gone are the days where I get dirty with C/C++ (which is a shame).

My real love is tinkering with cars and driving them on the race track - but that doesn't pay the bills which is a shame.
