what about prefacelift? i have seen the black over grey gt-vs but they're kouki, i personally havent seen a zenki panda gtv.. reason im asking is i have just bought what the guy said was a 1984 ae86 gtv but its panda, has no markings and is just a shell so cant really tell..

Hard one. In EU we only have the GT which is comparable to the GTV spec. Some of them were delivered as panda, just like the car from Oldskull:
