Speed Industries End of Season Trackday (Ae shootout!!)

Hi guys

Finally the first European Ae86 shootout will take place during our last trackday this season.

Track: Anneau du Rhin, 3km Strecke
Date: 07. October 08
Price: 210.- Euro
Driving: 9:00-17:00 mit 1h lunch



The shootout will be during the regular trackday driving.

There will be 3 classes:

Class 1: original car, free of choice is tyres, wheels, springs, shocks, no other power or handling adding stuff

Class 2: road legal (to Speed Industries definition), must have a 4ag 16V engine

Class 3: open

I will be in Japan until the 14th of September but should have mail access once in a while.

This is supposed to be an Ae86 shootout?
So all cars here just trailer queens or what?

i will most likely come - just have to get the ring and pinion and diff replaced.

But still there are just not enough Ae's showing up.

Too bad there is so little interest in this, really dissapointing.

I just don't have the time and money to spend on a whole weekend for only one trackday. (500km just to get there for me) :wink:

Comon guys, more Hachis.

I can understand that it is too far for a few guys of you but I am sure there are more who can join.
So get the marker out for this date.

And I hope the response will be better then so far then otherwise it will be hard to get the motivation to do a shootout again. This will be a lot of extra efforts needed.

From the response there is here it does look like only very few like the idea of this.

Really poor response and number of Ae applications.
