I only got them because they make OS valves. As for durability, they're using a hardening treatment which I don't think is applied to OEM valves. Should be a good buy if you're looking for stronger valves.

becareful about that, harder springs mean more wear for your camshaft

You'll be fine with what you have. Get the oversized valves. Your head will have better air flow.

My memory is a bit hazy, but check out 3sge or 7mge valves. There was a post on Toymods, by Billzilla, ages ago about oversized valves from one of these engines. Fraction of the price for std Toyota goodness.
Given the price Toyota often charges though, it may be six of one, half dozen of the other ( or in this case 16). |
