Suspension and brake set up
Ok then. Before i do any engine work i want to sort my chassis out.
Will be looking at new coilovers for front and shocks springs for rear. Very likely to be the greddy type s coilover and strut. get them for just over £800 delived from japan Any other i should be considering? Will also be changing front and rear arb to either trd or cusco both can be had for very similar prices. Any one have experience with either? Next up adjustable panhard rod. T3 one looks good Rear brace? Already have frontone DRIFTING is pushin a car against its intended design, then playing with the LAWS OF PHYSICS |

Rear strut brace. I do not know Who makes them are they needed? I already have i front one.
Anything i have missed more than likely. Brakes. Techno pro spirits brake disks. Slotted ones can be had from japan for £311 delivered. What alternatives would you suggest. Would go for rx7 ones but not buying 15' alloys just to do that. Pads would be looking at project mu for front and project mu D1 spec for the rear. Alternatives? Braided lines all round. Who from? The Big Yin Wrote:Brakes. Personal i think a project mu setup is enough for an AE86. Dont think you need bigger brakers from a FC for example. If you still have problems like overheating, why not try to make a sort of airpipe from the front bumperholes to the calipers, so it will cool a lot more. Braided lines can be bought from Goodridge. 5/2018 BMW F22 Coupe 1/1985 Toyota AE86 Levin Coupe |
