T50 Gearbox max power

I'm trying to find what is the max torque and max power that a T50 gearbox can admit.

500hp if you drive carefully
100hp if you don't

its more about how you threat the box not the amount of torque or hp

Il est dit généralement que la T50 tien les 200cv j'en sais pas plus.

Si ca rest de l'athmo c'est bon. si c'est en turbo (donc plus de couple) ca devien assé chaud.

Same as Boomex said, I think that the T series gearbox and diff will stand with the 200bhp NA mark,

If you'll use a turbo, it's another problem because of the torque more than the power, I'm not sure but 20mkg will be the limit...

If more you'll have to use W series or S series.....

I´ve driven quite long with my 254hp / 371Nm 2T turbo engine with T50 trans. With proper gear shifting it will survive. But you can break it with stock 2T and 75hp / 140Nm.

It is for a turbo setup (T2, i don't know what will be the torque.

I'll put 0,5b (7psi) on first and see what happen

I think I will have 160 or maybe 170 horsepower.

When you say 200HP, it is at wheel or flywheel?

I have my ae with a a silvertop turbo at 11psi , no problem with the the tranny I purchase the car that way and the setup has been for a while no problem at all. I haven’t gone to the dyno but at least it has 200hp at the wheels

if u take it easy with it, it should be fine... just dont do massive clutch dumps, big clutch kicks or munch the gears...

i would change to a w -series as all the above things are the fun bits of driving a car
