T50 Transmission Bell Housing
Hello everyone!
2 months ago I bought a T50 from the engine 2T-GEU
[Image: AEU86 AE86 - T50 Transmission Bell Housing]

And already 3 months worries me the same question: is T50 from 2T-GEU suitable for motor 4A-GE 20V?

Or I have to buy this kind of bell:

Give me, please, some info where I can find PCD for 4A-GE engine and 2E-GEU engine?

So I could compare them...

Nopes, they will not fit sadly. You have to find an A series bellhousing.
Then you have problem no.2. Bellhousing mount on the tranny side is different between T and A series T50s, so the output bearings will not fit. Have to machine a spacer to mount it and mix and match some parts.

Also, the extension housing (with the shifter) is in a different location between AE86 and TA22/TE27. So you will need one if mounting in an AE86. Finally the output axle has a different number of splines. So you will need to have a driveshaft made if used in a AE86.

Ideally: just use a 4AGE t50 if you are using a AE86/TE7X series chassis. If not, then I can probably find some more detailed links for you.

We put a 4A-engine with T50 in Starlet some years ago.
This is how we did it.

Thank you, friends!

I think I would look for the entire gearbox.
Google for the difference between early 20 spline T50s and later 22 spline T50s. There are lots of little differences.

How do you think is this T50 similar to 4AGE engine g.box??
Because the seller does not know from what motor it's from...

Most ae86 t50's I've seen so far had black shifter stick (plastic surrounding in stead of the cromed thing this one has).
For the rest it looks a lot like an AE86 T50 as far as shape is concerned.

Yes, it is not from AE86.
All I could find is the fact that this T50 was from Tertсel.
Probably from one like this:

The a series T50's have a A stamped on the bellhousing where the circle is (on the vertical face if the gearbox is horizontal, so on this picture it's on the horizontal face)
